Condor Ferries

Condor Ferries runs the Channel Islands routes from Portsmouth, and is now part of the Brittany Ferries group. The two still operate and book separately, Condor for the Channel Islands, Brittany Ferries for France and Spain, but they’re one company behind the scenes.

Condor’s routes from Portsmouth

Currently just one direct route from Portsmouth: Portsmouth to Guernsey. Jersey isn’t directly served from Portsmouth at the moment, see our Jersey page for how to get there via Guernsey instead. Condor also runs other UK and Channel Islands routes (Poole to Guernsey, Poole to St Malo, and inter-island sailings) that don’t touch Portsmouth.

How this differs from the Brittany Ferries routes

Shorter crossings, smaller islands at the other end, and a noticeably different crowd on board compared with the longer France and Spain sailings on this site. If you’re weighing up a Channel Islands trip against a France or Spain one, they’re genuinely different kinds of holiday, not just different distances.
